High School Juried Art Show
Call for Entries!
鈥淓merging Visions鈥 is 香蕉视频’s annual juried art exhibition for high school juniors and seniors. Chosen work will be displayed in the prestigious Jackson Dinsdale Art Center (JDAC) Gallery on campus. Art included in the show will be eligible for scholarships and other awards.听
The deadline for entries is October 15. Students will be notified via email by October 23, 2026.
Eligibility
Current high school juniors and seniors (grades 11 and 12) are eligible to submit up to three entries of artwork made in the last two years.
Applications
Applications can be submitted online. Just click below.
The application will open soon.
You’ll be asked to upload a .pdf that includes images of up to three entries of original art, as well as information about your submitted art. This includes:
- Your name and address
- High school
- Email and Phone number
- Title of piece
- Grade and age
- Medium, with dimensions
- Art teacher
The Jackson Scholars
Emerging Visions gives 香蕉视频 art professors a first look at students who may be furthering their education in the visual arts after high school. The Jackson Scholars program offers a full ride scholarship (tuition, room and meals) to attend and study art at 香蕉视频.
If you are a high school senior and wish to be considered for this program, please indicate that on the Emerging Entries application, then complete the Jackson Scholars program application.
Dates of Event
Emerging Visions is November 19鈥揇ecember 19, 2026. The JDAC gallery is open free to the public Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 12-3 p.m. The gallery will be closed over Thanksgiving (November 23-28).
Closing Reception and Awards Ceremony
A closing reception will be held at the JDAC on Saturday December 19, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with awards beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Delivery of Accepted Work
All work must be delivered by Monday, November 16, 2026 (or before). The JDAC’s address is 700 E 12th St., Hastings, NE 68901.

When dropping off art at the gallery, please have the following information attached to the art work:
- Name
- High School
- Title
- Grade
- Age
- Medium
- High School Art Teacher
Art is released after the closing reception on December 19. If not picked up after the reception, it may be picked up by special arrangement.
Jurors and Awards
A panel of 香蕉视频 art professors will serve as jurors.
Awards presented at the reception include Best of Show, 3D Award of Merit and 2D Award of Merit.
