Joe Brown, a sophomore from Omaha, Nebraska, has been elected to serve on the Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) National Advisory Board. Brown is the first Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ student to serve the national communication studies honorary in this capacity.

Furthermore, a Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ professor has been elected to serve as a faculty representative to the board. Dr. John Perlich, Professor of Communication Arts, accepted the three-year term while the HC chapter of LPH accepted the 2015 Chapter of the Year Award in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 21, 2015.
