The Wednesday, December 7 chapel service at Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ will feature Lessons and Carols, which chaplain Rev. Doodle Harris is calling “And the Angels said…,” the story of the birth of Jesus as told by the angels.
The service begins at 9:30 a.m. in French Memorial Chapel (800 N. Turner Avenue) and is free and open to the public. The service will also be livestreamed on the Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Facebook page, .
The service will include a monologue from Audrey Weeks, a senior theatre major from Hastings, plus four readings. Dr. Rich Loyd, executive president, and Ann Martin, chair of Board of Trustees, are two of the readers.
Music will be provided by the Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Handbell Choir, under the direction of Dr. Byron Jensen, and the Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Choir, under the direction of Brett Epperson.Ìý Accompanists include Linda Vollweiler and Dr. Jonathan Sokasits, with Dr. Louie Eckhardt joining on trumpet.
