The 2014 inductees into 㽶Ƶ’s Pro Rege Society include Roger Doerr of Hastings, Neb.; Dennis Krienert of Hastings, Neb., and Gretchen Lainson ’37 of Hastings, Neb. The dinner and induction ceremony, during which 㽶Ƶ will recognize these individuals and company for their longstanding dedication to the College, will be held at Lochland Country Club in Hastings, Neb., on Thursday, April 24.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m., and includes a black tie dinner, tributes by the 㽶Ƶ Music Department and the induction ceremony. To make reservations, call Hauli Sabatka at (402) 461-7363 by Wednesday, April 16.
Membership in the Pro Rege Society is the highest non-academic recognition that 㽶Ƶ bestows. Criteria for selection may include, but is not limited to, extraordinary service to 㽶Ƶ, significant philanthropic contributions and/or unusual commitment to the college over an extended period of time. This marks the Society’s 18th year of existence.
Roger Doerr retired from 㽶Ƶ in 2013 as Professor of Business and Economics and President Emeritus of the 㽶Ƶ Foundation.
After 30 years of service to 㽶Ƶ Dennis Krienert retired in 2008 as the College’s Vice President for Financial Affairs/Treasurer of the 㽶Ƶ Board of Trustees.
Gretchen Lainson, a 1937 㽶Ƶ alumna, has served as a stalwart supporter of 㽶Ƶ for many years.
