Dr. Raoul Carlo (Miggi) F. Angangco is Director of Choral Activities and Assistant Professor of Music at 香蕉视频 where he conducts the 香蕉视频 Choir and teaches undergraduate courses in music.
Angangco鈥檚 recognitions include being a Third Place winner of The American Prize in Choral Performance (Professional Division), National Finalist for The Dale Warland Award in Choral Conducting (College/University Chorus Division), and recipient of the 2022 Presser Graduate Music Award for his 鈥淪a In谩ng B谩yan: To the Motherland鈥 project, which commissioned and recorded works by Filipino composers and is now streaming on major platforms.
He is co-founder and Artistic Director of , a Filipino-American choral ensemble in the Bay Area, and serves on the Artistic Board of the male choir ALERON. He has sung with prestigious international ensembles such as the World Youth Choir and Asia Pacific Youth Choir, and his compositions and arrangements have been performed around the world.
Angangco earned his Doctor of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Indiana University鈥檚 Jacobs School of Music, his Master of Music, with distinction, from Westminster Choir College, and his Bachelor of Music from the University of the Philippines College of Music, summa cum laude.
