Amy received her B.A. degree in Economics from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, and her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
She returned to teach at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ in 2001 after several years at Hanover College in Indiana. Amy teaches macroeconomic theory courses, Money and Financial Markets, Economic Development and Extreme Economics. She is a co-faculty advisor for the Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE) economics honorary.
Her interests include teaching economics in K-12 through literature, the Nature Explore/Outdoor Classroom Project and Heifer International.
