Amy received her B.A. degree in Economics from Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ, and her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
She returned to teach at Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ in 2001 after several years at Hanover College in Indiana. Amy teaches macroeconomic theory courses, Money and Financial Markets, Economic Development and Extreme Economics. She is a co-faculty advisor for the Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE) economics honorary.
Her interests include teaching economics in K-12 through literature, the Nature Explore/Outdoor Classroom Project and Heifer International.
