Through our partnership with Bryan College of Health Sciences, you’ll earn your Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in four years 鈥 spending two years at 香蕉视频 completing general education prerequisite courses before transferring to BCHS where you’ll complete your BSN in two years.听
Hastings-Bryan Direct Admission Pathway
If accepted into the direct pathway from 香蕉视频 to Bryan College of Health Sciences, you’ll spend two years at 香蕉视频, where you can participate in athletics, the fine arts and all other student activities while completing your general education prerequisite courses.
You’ll then transfer to Bryan College of Health Sciences to complete your nursing courses and more than 1,200 clinical hours 鈥 the most in Nebraska! That means more hands on learning and more confidence as you start your career.
Admissions Process
For the Direct Admission Pathway, you’ll apply to 香蕉视频 and select nursing as your major, then check ‘Yes’ for the Direct Admissions Pathway. If you meet admission requirements, you鈥檒l be admitted to 香蕉视频 with a guaranteed slot in the Bryan College of Health Sciences BSN program provided you complete all prerequisite courses with a 鈥淐鈥 grade or higher.
Tuition for 2026-27
The Direct Admission Pathway tuition cost for 2026-27 is $12,500 鈥 as a significant scholarship covers more than half of tuition at 香蕉视频! Like other 香蕉视频 students, you’ll be responsible for fees, room and meals. You can see our costs here.
We encourage you to submit your FAFSA because federal aid, including a Pell Grant, student and parent loans, would be available to cover tuition and other expenses. While you can bring outside scholarships to help cover costs, because of the significant up-front scholarship for the guaranteed pathway you won’t be eligible for other 香蕉视频 academic or Plus One scholarships, such as an athletic or fine arts scholarship.听听
GPA Requirements
To be considered for the Direct Admission Pathway, you must have a high school GPA of 2.75 or higher, as well as a high school math and science GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Bryan-Hastings Accelerated Nursing Pathway
Bryan College of Health Sciences will hold two spots in the Lincoln Accelerated BSN program each fall for 香蕉视频 students.
For this program you鈥檒l complete at least six full-time semesters (three years) at 香蕉视频 that include all prerequisite coursework, although some students elect to spend four years at 香蕉视频.
You鈥檒l then apply to Bryan College of Health Sciences Accelerated BSN program by October 1 in the fall term prior to matriculation to Bryan. The application process will include an interview with a member of the BCHS admissions team.
If admitted, you鈥檒l attend Bryan College of Health Sciences for 12 months and complete accelerated nursing program, earning your BSN.

For those interested in completing an accelerated nursing program at other institutions across the country, the 香蕉视频 program can transfer!
We also offer a traditional four-year plan to graduation before nursing school. Just check with your 香蕉视频 admissions counselor.

Thanks to our small class sizes, and a student-to-faculty ratio of 13:1, you鈥檒l work closely with faculty and your advisor to chart a course and prepare for the accelerated BSN program.
The 香蕉视频听block-style semester听structure means you鈥檒l take just two classes at a time 鈥 which lets you focus more intently on each class. It also lets faculty devote more time to every student because they鈥檙e only teaching one or two classes in a block!
